Rita Harding is a senior marketing and communication executive with more than 20 years’ experience in social change marketing supporting public policy outcomes across a range of areas including health, transport, the environment, education and regional economic development.
Rita has worked for and with a number of state and federal government departments directing the design, development and implementation of a range of campaign programs including the National Youth Alcohol and QUIT Smoking campaigns, Tourism New Zealand’s 100% Pure global campaign, Tourism Northern Territory’s Share our Story integrated global marketing program, and most recently the suite of road safety advertising programs for the NSW Government including the award winning “Plan B” and “Don’t Trust Your Tired Self” behaviour change campaigns.
Rita is a graduate of the University of Melbourne and the AGSM. She has served as a non-executive director on the Foundation and Friends of the Botanic Gardens NSW, National Health Foundation Board (NT) and also on its national marketing committee. She is a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute (FAMI) and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD).
