Jennifer Low is a highly experienced board director and senior leader with over 14 years of expertise in regulatory design, policy development and reform, strategic planning, and workplace health and safety. Jennifer was appointed Chair of the Sleep Health Foundation in 2025, following six years as a Non-Executive Director and serves as the Deputy WorkSafe Commissioner at the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS), where she provides strategic leadership in work health and safety services across Western Australia.
An advocate for evidence-based policy, Jennifer has served on multiple high-profile national and state boards, including Safe Work Australia and the Commission for Work, Health and Safety, and has acted as an Australian employer delegate through international committees.
Jennifer is committed to raising awareness of the critical role sleep plays in overall health and performance and brings lived experience to the role of Chair as a person with narcolepsy (type 2).
