Are you considering applying for an ARC Early Career Industry Fellowship? Talk to us about connecting you with the right industry partner and other support we can offer.
The Sleep Health Foundation (SHF) is able to provide support for early career investigators who are planning on applying for the ARC Early Career Industry Fellowships in the 2024 round. The application round is expected to open 24th of September 2024 and close 12th of November 2024. The SHF is able to provide support through the SHF Industry and Research Collaborations Committee, previously known as the Australian Sleep and Alertness Consortium. This committee represents the legacy group of experts with collective expertise in industry research and partnership built throughout the Cooperative Research Centre for Alertness, Safety and Productivity (the Alertness CRC).
A key aspect of these new ARC fellowships is that the applicants must partner and work directly with a key industry partner spending at least 20% of their time working directly with the key industry partner. Additional supporting partners are also allowed.
The key support offered SHF can offer early career investigators includes:
- High level feedback on project proposal objectives and industry need
- Help matching industry partners aligned with proposal objectives
- Connecting applicants with the right partners
- SHF can be supporting partner on application when advocacy and translation activities are important outcomes (Note: depending on level of support needed the cost will need to be factored into the proposal budget)
- Includes letter of support
- Access to Lived Experience Advisory Partners
- On-going partner relation management
Please reach out to us at any time to discuss your proposal and partner needs for current or future rounds of the ARC Early Career Industry Fellowships (no later than 31st of August if applying in the current round). The earlier you reach out to us the better we can support you.
