Brigitte has recently been diagnosed with moderately severe obstructive sleep apnoea. Using CPAP is not a case of ‘toughen up’, but of perseverance and trial and error, and following through to find a way to get better sleep, either with CPAP or with a different treatment. Finding a solution is crucial, as untreated OSA that is moderately severe is too fraught with increased risks for physical and mental health.
